…and there were lilies: IV. choir

A choir of colour,
they raise their heads and open
their mouths to shout out
a hallelujah chorus
of silent, deafening joy.

Apart from Lady Alice tipping over in the middle, these are all oriental lilies – bigger and more scented than Asiatic or LA lilies. These ones are in a bathtub outside an out-building, a small timber yurt which was meant to be a writing place for me but was taken over by the kids.

This is the continuing epilogue to last year’s jubilate lilium.
