The trees have sliced the moonlight,
and dropped it
in white strips across the path.
My shadow trails behind me
through this monochrome brightness,
then leads me home
to stand in the doorway
and ask if I want to come in.

Very clever imagery and perspective. Unique and excellent. I love how the moonlight is sliced, and your shadow takes the lead.
Thanks Roger ❤
It's been very bright moonlight the last few days – and will be full tonight. With no streetlights anywhere near the moon-shadows are very sharp.
